Sailing through waves: Stories of hardship and hope
For the longest time, Tzu Chi scholars Jenny Rose Goco, Edrian delos Santos, and Chatline Joy dela Cruz knew nothing but hardship: for Jenny Rose, it was financial struggle; for Edrian, a debilitating eye disease; and for Chatline Joy, the loss of her father. Through a Tzu Chi scholarship, these disadvantaged youth received both quality education and timeless values that will carry them through life. As graduating scholars, they can now hope and dream of a better future, not just for themselves but for their families as well.
