Walking towards a new journey: Tzu Chi Zamboanga’s Jaipur Foot Camp
On May 16-17, amputee beneficiaries went to Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur to receive their prostheses and wheelchairs in Tzu Chi Zamboanga’s Jaipur Foot Camp. Ninety-seven recipients were given above-the-knee and below-the-knee prostheses made by the prosthetic technicians’ sincere efforts to help them walk again. Through these prostheses, mothers like Arlyn M. Segarra, and fathers like Rodello Garillo can gain new strength to persevere for their families despite their disabilities. This gives them the strides they need for their bright future.
