Livelihood Program
The program was formally started in line with Tzu Chi’s mission on Education, to provide not only free quality and TESDA aligned vocational and livelihood training to the marginalized sector of the community, but most importantly, to equip and instill in every student good moral values that will strengthen them to face life’s difficulties.
It also aims to produce students with propriety and upright character, and deliver quality technical knowledge and training for students to be competitive and employable in both local and international industries. It also enhances the holistic well-being of students from the less fortunate sector to become self-reliant, productive, and contribute to society.
The objective of the program is to provide the necessary tools and facilities for hands-on experience and ensure that students are guided and well equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills, and have the upright character necessary before they graduate. Students also receive assistance with job placement upon graduating.
