Rise Cebu: A Hope Recovery Mission
In the aftermath of Typhoon Tino (International Name: Kalmaegi), 6,565 families in Cebu received relief goods as Tzu Chi extended a hand in their recovery. On November 28-29, through the concerted efforts of 258 volunteers, eight simultaneous relief operations were held across Talisay, Mandaue, Consolacion, Compostela, Danao, and Liloan - serving 13 towns across these areas.
Families with partially or totally damaged homes received 25-kilogram sacks of rice, condiments, noodles, and other grocery items. Those whose homes were completely destroyed were grateful for the financial assistance that will help them recover and rebuild their lives.
在11月初兩個大颱風過後，258位慈濟志工於11月28日至29日兩天前往宿霧六個地點協助當地災民渡過難關。慈濟志工分散到塔里薩伊、曼達維、康索拉西恩、康波斯特拉、達瑙及利洛安等地同步展開八場發放活動，服務範圍涵蓋13個城鎮。總共有6,565戶家庭收到了救濟物資。房屋部分受損或全毀的家庭，每戶獲得了25公斤裝大米、調味料、麵條及其他雜貨用品。而家園全毀的災民還得到經濟援助。這次發放將幫助他們重建家園，安心生活。
