Fire Relief at Teodora Alonzo, Manila
On February 18, three days after a fire razed homes in Barangay 330, Sta. Cruz, Manila, Tzu Chi volunteers organized relief efforts for 122 families affected by this latest disaster. Among them was Rolino Abijay, a fishball vendor who lost his 3 dogs in the blaze.
Representatives of families affected by the fire each received a 10 kg sack of rice, P500 gift check from Puregold Supermarket, various kitchen and personal care items, and other basic necessities.
