Tzu Chi Zamboanga conducts Jaipur Foot Camp

On January 5, 2024, Tzu Chi Foundation, together with Zamboanga City Medical Center Rehabilitation Department, conducted a Jaipur Foot Camp in partnership with the Provincial Persons with Disabilities Affairs Office in Pagadian City.
Dedicated Tzu Chi volunteers who came all the way from Zamboanga City attended to 97 individuals, either born without legs or having lost one or both due to diseases or accidents. Castings of limbs were made for the eventual production of prosthetic limbs.
In the near future, these 97 individuals will regain the ability to walk, bringing about a transformative impact on their lives.
It's the commitment of these volunteers, who are truly "walking the talk," that ensures people will literally be able to walk again.
