The Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines is committed to supporting students who are determined to achieve their academic goals despite financial challenges. Our Educational Assistance Program provides financial aid to deserving students enrolled in partner State Universities and Colleges. If you meet the qualifications below, we encourage you to apply and take the first step toward a brighter future.

| Enrollment | Must be enrolled in one of the following partner universities or colleges: • University of the Philippines • Universidad de Manila • Philippine Normal University • Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila • Polytechnic University of the Philippines • Technological University of the Philippines |
| Priority Courses | • Communication • Journalism • Education • Social Work • Economics • Agriculture • Accountancy • Physical Therapy • Information Technology • Medical Technology • Radiology Technology • Business Administration (Management, Financial Management) • Engineering and Architecture • Industrial Technology • Nursing (Only available in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila) |
| Year Level | Must be an INCOMING 2ND YEAR COLLEGE STUDENT at the time of application. - This means the student is currently a 1st-year college student and will be advancing to their 2nd year next semester. |
| Financial Status | Must belong to an indigent or economically challenged family. |
| Student Status | Must be a regular student. |
| Academic Performance | Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 2.25 (82%) with no failing grade in any subject. |
| Residency | Must be a resident of Metro Manila or areas in Rizal near NCR. |
| Interview & Home Visitation | Must pass the interview and agree to a home visitation: • Conducted by Tzu Chi Foundation’s social workers, staff, and volunteers. |
