Families, friends bond in a weekend of veggie and eco-friendly finds

On August 30 and 31, Tzu Chi hosted A Taste of Goodness, a fundraising event featuring a wide variety of plant-based dishes at the Buddhist Tzu Chi Campus in Sta. Mesa, Manila. Guests of all ages came together to enjoy delicious vegetarian meals and meaningful family bonding, all in support of a greater cause. Proceeds from the two-day event will help build the Tzu Chi General Hospital, which aims to serve more people in need.

After weeks of tireless preparations, Tzu Chi volunteers are excited to welcome all to "A Taste if Goodness," a vegetarian fundraising featuring sumptuous plant-based delicacies.

Come together with us at the Buddhist Tzu Chi Campus in Sta. Mesa, Manila, and enjoy a variety of wholesome plant-based dishes.

Over 100 teenagers and twenty-somethings spent three days learning Tzu Chi culture and practices in a youth camp from June 6-8 at the Buddhist Tzu Chi Campus in Sta. Mesa, Manila. Etiquette, vegetarianism, filial piety, recycling and other missions of Tzu Chi were introduced to them in lectures and experiential programs.

Much has changed since Tzu Chi became the advocacy partner of Runrio’s Galaxy Earth Day Run two years ago. The annual road race that promotes environmental awareness adopted collapsible reusable hydration cups, an innovation that kept streets clear of discarded single-use plastic and paper cups. Despite the participation of thousands of runners in the 5K, 10K, and 21k categories, the event yielded less trash overall. With mindful actions, we can work together to preserve planet Earth.
